Just bought this for my 9yr old son for his birthday, and he absolutely loves it. It looks very stylish and he has had a number of comments at the skate park and whilst out with us – very cool! May get one of my own!!

i bought this scooter because i wanted something that looked good and was strong. im glad i bought this one as it looks amazing. i was the talk of the park because everyone wanted a go of it. it was fairly easy to put together but it needs two people one to hold the forks and bars and one to tighten to bolts. the only bad thing i have to say about it is the grips need changing as they are far from being comfy. :)

This book covers, in appropriate detail, the entire grading syllabus for Shotokan Karate. On its own just a formal reference describing what is required for each grade is very welcome.

Where this book really shines is the descriptive text and accompanying pictures that really illustrate the requirements for training and grading up to 1st Dan (Black Belt). One note of caution; I would not use this book as an exclusive source in Shotokan Karate martial arts…actual structured training in a Dojo is still required.

THIS IS WHAT I’VE BEEN WAITING FOR!!

This book has excellent coverage of the entire syllabus to black belt level and the step by step illustrations make it really easy to use while i practice on my own. I particularly like the grading syllabus summaries at the beginning of each chapter. The one page kata sheets at the back of the book are also an excellent resource making for a quick reminder of the kata sequence.

I have purchased many shotokan karate books in the past and have found that they never seem to want to cover the grading syllabus. In addition, having trained with many instructors it amazes me how little information is given on the grading requirements and how many of us poor students get to gradings without fully knowing what is going on.
